On 8^th March 2019, Awareness Stall was organized at Social worker department by the blood bank of Sassoon Hospital, Pune. MOHAN Foundation was invited for installation of informative stall and for giving awareness about the Organ. The Information Desk was held by Mr. Akash salve near the Social worker department of Sassoon hospital.

Mr. Akash Salve held few frequent awareness sessions and introduced Mohan Foundation, its mission, vision and philanthropy. He introduced the concept of Organ and tissue donation. He also explained the types of death viz. Cardiac and Brain Death and the organs and tissues that can be donated. He elaborated the procedure about bone donation which was new topic for the public. He also described that tissue donation (skin & eyes) can happen even at home which caught attention of the crowd and everybody started asking queries related to tissue donation which were answered promptly. He also discussed about Organ Donations that can happen in case of Brain Dead case and number of lives that can be saved by giving the examples of successful transplant stories articles and news about green corridor which was not familiar to the crowd.

About 220 people donated the blood and few visited the stall. About 70 pledges were taken & few were filled online. We thank Mr. Sharad Desale & Mr. Shelke for inviting us and supporting the cause of Organ Donation.
