On 12.05.2019, on the occasion of International Nurses Day, MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum Navjeevan team organized an organ donation awareness Program in Sawai Man Singh Auditorium, Jaipur with the help of AU Small Finance Bank.

Dr. Jogendra Singh (Govt. Nursing College Principal), Doctors and medical officers along with 550 nursing staff and nursing students attended the program and got sensitized about organ donation

MFJCF member Mr. PC Jain gave presentation with the help of video based on organ donation and brain death and covered following points.-

 

1. The need for organs in the Rajasthan

2. Myths about organ donation.

3 Differences between coma and brain death

Some questions asked by nursing staff and nursing students answered by MFJCF  member-

1. How do we allocate organs?

2. Who declares brain death?

3. Which organs and tissues can be donated after brain death?

After the program, nursing staff and nursing students posed with message board ''I SUPPORT ORGAN DONATION'' and promised to spread awareness about organ donation amongst family and friends.
