On 29^th  November 2018, MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum Navjeevan team conducted an awareness talk on organ donation at Sanjeevan Paramedical College, Jaipur with the help of AU Small Finance Bank to make students aware about organ donation.

Dr. Amla Batra and Mr. Pavan Kumar Dubey represented the MFJCF team.

Mr. Rajendra Sharma (Principal) along with 35 students and teachers attended the session and got sensitized about organ donation.

A MFJCF member gave a presentation with the help of video based on organ donation and brain death and covered the following.

1. Concept of brain death.
2. Brief about organ donors.
3. Legal formalities during organ donation.

 

Some questions were also asked and answered by MFJCF team.

1. Who will give consent for organ donation on my behalf?
2.  Can the hospital take vital organs for transplant from an unclaimed body?
3.  Has anybody revived after declaring brain death?

 

After the session all students took donor cards and posed with organ donation message board for photographs.
