MOHAN Foundation was invited to set up an awareness stall at Tagore Medical College and Hospital, Rathinamangalam on 29^th November, 2018. Mr. Siva Shankar (Helpline Executive, MOHAN Foundation), Mr. Arun Jose and Ms. Kaviya P (Interns from MMM College of Health Sciences) represented MOHAN Foundation.

The awareness stall was set up in view of disseminating knowledge among the medical students who become an indispensable part of the organ donation nexus in the future. MOHAN Foundation also put up an exhibition of paintings done by Iranian artists for the Nafas visual art festival. An award-winning exhibit titled ‘Life Before Ashes’ comprising of installations of human organs modeled using human ashes was also on display. Nearly 200 students viewed the exhibition and close to 100 people registered their names as organ donor and received donor cards.

MOHAN Foundation thanks the Hospital management, Dr. N. Gunasekaran (DEAN, Tagore Medical and Hospital), Dr. A. Balaji (Professor and Head, Dept. of Community Medicine) and Dr. T. Sree Sucharitha (Associate Professor, Dept. of Community Medicine) of Tagore Medical College and Hospital for inviting the Foundation and supporting this initiative.
