On 28^th November 2018, Mr. Pechiyappan from the CSR of Suryoday Small Finance Bank invited MOHAN Foundation to deliver an awareness talk on organ donation. 54 people from a joint liabilities group of the Hasthampatty branch of the bank in Salem were the participants.  

Mr Dileep Kumar S from the Foundation began by introducing himself and interacting with the audience to understand how much they already know about organ donation.

During his presentation on organ donation, the following points were covered:

• Transplantation of Human Organs Act
• How can we save many lives through organ donation?
• How to register in case of organ requirement
• Organ donation types and who can be a donor
• Difference between natural death and brain death
• Age not being a constraint in organ donation 

After the question and answer session, the joint liabilities group members and Mr. Pechiyappan thanked Mr. Dileep Kumar S for conducting the programme on organ donation at their bank.
