On 12 September 2018 MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum Navjeevan team conducted an awareness talk on organ donation at Kashipura Panchayat, Bassi Jaipur with the help of AU Small Finance Bank to make people aware about the organ donation.

Mrs. Ranju Jain and Mr. Pavan Kumar Dubey represented the MFJCF team. Mr. Ravi Sharma and Mr. Tarachand Meena from AU Small Finance Bank also attended the program.

Mr. Vinod Kumar Bairwa (Sarpanch) and Mrs. Avantika (Gram Sevak) along with 45 villagers and students of class 12th attended the session and got sensitized about organ donation.

Mrs. Ranju Jain gave presentation with the help of video based on organ donation and brain death and covered following things.

1. Brief about organ donors.
2. Brain and cardiac death.
3. Misconception about organ donation.

 

Some questions were also asked and answered by MFJCF team.

1. Can member of donor family meet to recipient after the transplantation?
2. How long it will take to come back in normal life after organ transplant?
3. Are organs selling?

 

After the session 30 villagers picked up the donor cards and posed with organ donation message board for photographs.
