MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum- Navjeevan Team conducted an awareness talk on organ donation to make aware Pachar Panchayat villagers about the noble cause on 23.01.2018 at Pachar Panchayt, Jhotwara, Jaipur (60 km far away from Jaipur territory.

Dr. TeennaSahwney and Mr. Pavan Kumar Dubey represented the MFJCF- Navjeevan team. Mr. Banshidhar Yadav, Sarpanch and Mr. Jagdish Prasad Kasotiya along with 50 villagers attended the session and got sensitized about noble cause organ donation.

Mr. Banshidhar Yadav thanked MFJCF- Navjeevan team for the awareness talk and invited Dr. TeennaSahwney to deliver the talk.With the help of Presentation and Video based on organ donation and brain death, concept of Organ Donation, Need of Organs and Transplant Act were described by the members which was highly appreciated by the villagers.

 

During the session some questions were asked and answered by the MFJCF- Navjeevan members.

1. Is the hand transplantation possible in India?

2. How many organs can be transplanted into a  recipient?

3. What should I do to become an ambassador of organ donation?

 

After the enthralling session, 50 villagers took the donor card to pledge for their organs and promised to spread the awareness about organ donation in friends and family.
