On 22.01.2018, MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum- Navjeevan Team conducted an awareness session on organ donation. This was done at KalwarPanchayt, Jhotwara, Jaipur. More than 60 villagers attended the session and got sensitized about organ donation.

Mrs.Renu Devi Uba represented the MFJCF- Navjeevan team. More than 60 villagers attended the session. Mrs. Manju, Sarpanch and Mr. Vijay Singh Rathore, Gram Sevak welcomed MFJCF- Navjeevan team.Concept of organ donation, brain death, need for organs and how a donor card is helpful in for spreading awareness was described by the MFJCF- Navjeevan members with the help of power point presentation and video.

 

During the program some questions were asked and answered by the MFJCF-Navjeevan members.

1. Will you people take care of me when I am suffering and already pledged for my organs?

2. What is the reason for brain death to occur?

3. Who will help my family for final rituals after organ donation?

 

After the session 40 people took donor cards and posed with organ donation message board "I SUPPORT ORGAN DONATION".
