MOHAN Foundation conducts awareness talk on organ donation at Red Cross – Punjab, Chandigarh – Session 32 |

On 12th December, 2016, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the secretary, Red Cross – Punjab, Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk for their first aid students at Vivekanand Bhawan, Chandigarh. Around 35 students from various parts of Punjab, college students, patient care attendants and home nursing participated in the session. Students were given an introduction and presentation on organ donation and brain death by Deepika Arora. The session covered topics like concept of organ donation, brain death, types of donors, myths on organ donation, difference between natural death and brain death. It was indeed and amazing session as participants asked various questions on organ donation. |
