An Awareness Lecture on ''Organ Donation” was delivered by Sqn. Ldr. Dr. Ravi Wankhede  of MOHAN Foundation,  to the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC)  employees and CISF personnel on 25/10/2016 at NTPC, Mouda under the aegis of CMO Dr. Ranjita Sahu and her medical team of Dr. S. K. Soni, Dr. Lankeshwar, Dr. Ajay Singh, Dr. Anju Singh and Dr. H. Barange . About 60 employees attended the session.

The programme was attended by dignitaries like GM(O&M) Shri Ram Chandra Patnaik, GM(TS) Shri Sunil P. Hambarde, GM(Maint), Shri Premdas, DC CISF, Shri Pranav Kumar,  Dr. Anju Singh introduced Dr. Wankhede to the dignitaries and audience. Dr. Wankhede in very lucid manner explained all the aspects of organ donation to the audience. The audience was very receptive, interactive and open to the concept of organ donation which was quite new to them. The audience had many queries about organ donation which were suitably explained to the audience by Dr. Wankhede.

 At the end of programme GM(O&M) Shri Patnaik addressed the audience regarding organ donation and its need of the hour and motivated the audience to pledge for a noble cause. CMO Dr.Ranjita Sahu concluded the programme with vote of thanks and by giving a small gift to Dr. Wankhede as a token of appreciation for giving his valuable time and efforts to NTPC audience and his hard work and dedication in this sphere of life. Dr. Ranjita Sahu & Dr. Anju Singh have taken the responsibility of spreading awareness amongst other people who are living in the campus.
