Mr.A D Singh, a committee member of Hazara Coop Housing Society invited MOHAN Foundation to conduct an organ donation camp at their society on the 10^th Sept 2016 as part of their Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.

Mrs.Jaya Jairam conducted the talks and thereafter invited the society members to sign up. She conducted the talks in Hindi and explained the concept of Organ donation, the need for it and the types of organs and tissues that can be donated. She also spoke about her own kidney transplant and how it has motivated her to work for ensuring that others Indians waiting for an organ should also get the gift of life through Organ donation. Many of the queries on procedures of eye donation, skin donation etc were addressed.

The members of Hazara society were moved and many of them signed up in large numbers and were proud to Pledge their organs. We wish to convey our sincere gratitude to Mr. and Mrs. A D Singh as well as the organisers of the Ganesh Mandal at Hazara CHS.
