MOHAN Foundation Conducts Awareness Talk on Organ Donation at Red Cross – Punjab, Chandigarh – Session 22 |

On 20th September 2016, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the secretary, Red Cross – Punjab, Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk for their first aid students at Vivekanand Bhawan, Chandigarh. Around 56 Students from Various parts of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh, College Students, Patient care Attendants and Home Nursing participated in the session.
Students were given an introduction and presentation on Organ Donation and Brain Death by Deepika Arora. In this talk she explained the importance of Organ Donation, Religious myths involved with Organ Donation & Eyes Donation and the importance of signing the donor card.
Participants were given donor cards and information Brochures. Around 15 donor cards were taken. |
