Dr. Hema Dhoble, Administrative Officer of Suretech Hospital, Dhantoli Nagpur invited MOHAN Foundation to sensitize Nurses. The program was organized at Seminar Hall of Suretech Hospital, on 27th May 2016.  

Mr. Bulu Behera gave talk on Organ Donation and Transplantation with help of a presentation. Brochures, consent forms and donor cards were also displayed.

In the talk he said what is Organ Donation?

v Cause of Brain death.

v Process of Organ Donation.

v In case of live donation which organ can be donate?

v In case of Natural death which Tissue can be donate?

v In case of Brain death which Organ can be donate?

v Importance of Organ Transplant Act 1994.

v Importance of Organ donation pledge form.

v Importance of ZTCC in organ donation and transplantation.

v MOHAN Foundation activities and importance of helpline number.

v Role of ICU Doctor and Nurses for Organ Donation.

 

At the end of lecture questions asked by participants:-

1) If patients Brain death than how contact to MOHAN Foundation?

2) Still how many people signed consent form in your Organization?

3) Any call from Organ donor family to MOHAN Foundation after death those who have signed pledge form?

After question discussion 4 nurses signed consent form and took donor card.15 nurses attended the talk.
