On 19th May 2016 Team MFJCF carried out an awareness talk about organ donation at Mahatma Jyotirao Phoole University Achrol at the National Integration Camp 2016.

 

More than 200 NSS cadets from 13 states across India were benefitted by the talk. Director and VC Dr. Nirmal Panwar welcomed the team. The coordination for the talk was done by Rotarian Parag Srivastava of Rotary Club Jaipur Royal.

 

Members who took the Awareness Drive were Mr Ravi Kamra, Dr Anita Hada Sangwan and Capt Amarjeet Sangwan. During the awareness talk, need of organ donation, organs to be donated, myths about organ donation, organ donors of Rajasthan and how to pledge organs were discussed.

 

Questions like “Is there any age limit for organ donation?”, “how can we get connected with the cause in different states?” were asked - all of which were satisfactorily answered by MFJCF team members.

 

70 donor cards were picked up by the students and they promised to talk about organ donation in their local groups and NSS  cadre of their respective states. Groups of students came forward and had photographs clicked with the message board “I SUPPORT ORGAN DONATION”. The whole cause and drive was superbly supported by the Professor and VC of the University.
