MOHAN Foundation Nagpur Center conduct 6 awareness session at S.B. Jain Institute of technology, Management & Research at Yerala, Nagpur on 24, 26 & 27 August 2015.

The 1^st session was on 24^th August 2015, and was coordinated by Ms. Abhilasha Naidu. This session was organized for Electrical Engineering students, Computer Science Engineering Students & teaching staff.

Dr. Ravi Wankhede explained the concepts of Organ donation & transplantation focusing on the types of donations, what all could be donated, who all could donate the organs. He also explained how brain death occurs, its reasons, it signs, etc. Special mention about eye donation & skin donation.

After the session students & staff asked the queries.

• What happens in Post Mortem?
• Can a diabetic person  donate organs?
• Is MOHAN Foundation charging for organs?
• What are the age criteria of organ & tissue Donation?

200 students & 10 teaching staff attended the session. They want to sign pledge form after discussing with their family members.
