MOHAN Foundation was invited by Lions Club South of Bangalore to participate in the awareness rally on organ donation as a part of Organ Donation Week on August 13, 2015. The rally commenced at Lalbagh at 06:00 am with more than 130 volunteers of Lions Club. The rally was flagged off by Mr. Hemant Kumar, District Governor, and coordinated by Mr. Laxmi Prakash, district Chair Person, Lions Club.

Ms. Akshata of MOHAN Foundation coordinated with all the volunteers, students from different colleges and requested them to participate in the rally organized to spread awareness about organ donation.

More than 1000 people were distributed information brochures and more than 200 people pledged to donate organs and were distributed donor cards.

We thank the Mr. Hemant Kumar and Mr. Laxmi Prakash for organizing the rally and all the participants for their active participation for this noble cause.
