MOHAN Foundation in association with Medical Stores Association of Telangana. MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Srinivas of Medical Stores Association to install a stall to spread awareness on organ donation at P&T Colony Community Hall on August 15, 2015 as a part of Independence day celebrations and also a blood donation camp was organized.

Dr. Koti Reddy explained the visitors about the purpose, necessity, importance, complex issues in deceased organ donation, concept of brain death, cultural and religious barriers, THO Act and myths related to organ donation.

There were about 100 people that visited our registration desk and all of them were distributed donor cards and information brochures. The visitors also requested for an awareness session for more details on organ donation. Many of the participants were also interested to know about whole body donation.

We thank Mr. Srinivas for his kind support in organizing this awareness session and also thank all the organizers for their support to this noble cause.
