On, 22nd April 2015 an awareness session was conducted for the students of Government Model High School, Sector-42, Chandigarh .Around 50 students participated and they were from 10^th standard .The Head Mistress and science teacher Ms Karamjit Dhariwal helped a lot in arranging the session.

The students were really enthusiastic and keen on learning about, what organ donation is and asked so many questions about it. The students were educated on Organ Transplants, Organ Donation and Brain death in details by the Program Coordinator Nilakshi. The myths related to organ donation were also cleared.

One of the student stood up and said, “Although I am not 18 as yet but whenever I’ll be 18, I will going to donate my organs. The students were asked to talk to their parents also about it. Information brochures were distributed among them and the donor card was shown to them.
