MOHAN FOUNDATION conducted an organ donation awareness talk for the autorickshaw​ drivers on​ ​18 Feb​ruary​ 2015. M.​ ​Naresh ​of ​MCC College​, an intern at MOHAN Foundation​ and M.​ ​Mani ​ of ​MOHAN Foundation conducted the ​talk.  ​They approached ​ eight auto drivers in Kilpauk Garden Road​ to speak to them about organ donation.

Importance and need of organ donation

Types of donation live and deceased donation

Different between natural death, coma and brain death

Importance of donor card, helpline number and website

 

​After the talk, the   drivers registered as organ donor​s​ and picked a donor card. They also attached the toll fee helpline number sticker inside their auto​rickshaw​.
