MFJCF team conducted a workshop in collaboration with SMS hospital on all the facets of The Organ Transplant Act. The workshop was held at Seminar Hall, Birla Cancer Institute, SMS hospital Jaipur on November 5, 2014. Dr. Manish Sharma and Dr. Ajay organised the workshop.

 

The workshop was well attended and attentively listened to by nearly 100 participants. The Medical Supdt, representative of Principal, SMS Medical College, various HOD’s and senior doctors attended the knowledge based workshop.

 

Dr. Manish Sharma of MFJCF detailed all the aspects of Transplantation of Human Organs Act very clearly and shed light on the myths concerned with organ donation too.  Medical Supdt Dr. Sharma conveyed his thanks and agreed on the need for organ donation. He also said that such workshops should be a regular feature with different departments of SMS so that all the staff of the hospital is sensitized.

 

Mr. Jaju of MFJCF gave vote of thanks and Bhavna Jagwani, Convenor, MFJCF administered the oath.
