On July 15, 2026, MOHAN Foundation, in collaboration with Rotary Club Rishikesh Divas, organized the first in a series of organ donation awareness initiatives through poster-making competitions in schools. The inaugural competition was held at Harichand Gupta Adarsh Kanya Inter College, Rishikesh, at the invitation of the Principal, Ms. Sandhya Gupta.

The competition was conducted on the school’s auditorium and witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 25 students. Through their creative and thought-provoking posters, the students highlighted the importance of organ, tissue, and eye donation. Many participants illustrated how a single organ donor can save multiple lives and conveyed the powerful message that organ donation is a “gift of life.”

Ms. Madhavi Gupta, President, Rotary Club Rishikesh Divas, addressed the participants and spoke about the importance of eye donation and its potential to restore sight to individuals affected by corneal blindness. She encouraged the students to share the message of donation with their families and communities.

The top three entries were recognized with prizes and certificates in appreciation of their creativity and understanding of the cause. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Sandhya Gupta, Principal, who expressed her appreciation to MOHAN Foundation, Rotary Club Rishikesh Divas, and the participating students for their efforts in promoting awareness about organ and tissue donation.

The initiative provided students with a creative platform to engage with the life-saving message of organ donation and encouraged them to become young advocates for the cause.
