On 18 June 2026, at the Ethiopian Cultural Centre, New Delhi, Ms. Simran Anand, Program Officer, MOHAN Foundation, and Ms. Reema Arya, Program Officer, MOHAN Foundation NCR, attended the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon (VDHM) NGO Meet, where MOHAN Foundation was invited as one of the participating NGOs. The meeting focused on fundraising opportunities, NGO engagement, and collaboration through the VDHM platform.

During the meeting, Ms. Simran Anand presented an overview of MOHAN Foundation, highlighting its mission, key initiatives, and impact in the field of organ donation and transplantation. She also discussed how the Foundation could support and participate in VDHM activities. It was shared that several doctors associated with the Foundation had participated in the previous year's marathon and contributed to fundraising efforts.

Plans for the current year include encouraging athletes, supporters, and well-wishers to run for the Foundation to strengthen fundraising efforts and increase awareness about organ donation.

The presentation also covered MOHAN Foundation's Anudan initiative, patient support activities, and CSR programmes. Discussions focused on leveraging the marathon platform to raise funds, increase public engagement, and create greater awareness about the Foundation's work.

As part of the VDHM coordination process, Ms. Reema Arya has been actively coordinating with the Lakshyaa team on behalf of MOHAN Foundation. Her responsibilities included managing communication with the VDHM team, maintaining the NGO profile page, and ensuring that all required information, photographs, and logos were accurately updated.

The meeting provided valuable insights into fundraising strategies, donor engagement, and NGO participation through sporting events. It also highlighted opportunities for MOHAN Foundation to expand its outreach, mobilise supporters, and generate resources to support its charitable initiatives. The session further strengthened coordination between MOHAN Foundation and the VDHM organising team for the upcoming marathon campaign. Several NGOs attended the meeting.
