Mrs. Uma Arya, the president of Innerwheel Club of Bengaluru West, invited MOHAN Foundation to conduct the awareness talk on organ donation to the members of Innerwheel Club of Bengaluru West.

MOHAN Foundation, conducted an awareness talk to the members of the Innerwheel club, Malleshwaram, bengaluru on 15^th June, 2026 at 11:30 am in the morning.

Mrs. Ranjini Shankar MS, initiated the talk by introducing MOHAN Foundation, its mission, vision and kept the audience engaged throughout the session. The following concepts were explained in detail

• Concepts of organ and tissue donation
• The types of death i.e., cardiac death and brain death
• Brain Death through Apnoea test
• Skin and bone donation.
• Whole body donation
• Myths and facts related to organ donation and its impact on the society

Mrs. Ranjini Shankar MS gave a brief insight into MOHAN Foundation courses and motivated the audience to pledge for organ donation

Around 40 members attended the talk, all 40 members signed up for organ donation by taking the donor pledge cards. Brochures were also distributed.

The session was very interactive and the participants were very enthusiastic in participating in the awareness talk.
