An Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness Stall was conducted on May 13, 2026, during the VSHFA Sindhi Hindu Federation’s Youth Sammelan 2026 held at Balgandharva Auditorium, Bandra, Mumbai. The awareness initiative was conducted by Mr. Nikhil Nagarkar in collaboration with the organizers of the event with the objective of creating awareness about the importance of organ and tissue donation among youth delegates and community members.

The event witnessed participation from over 400 delegates and members of the community. Through informative interactions, awareness materials, and one-to-one discussions, participants were sensitized about the significance of organ and tissue donation, the donation process, eligibility criteria, and the impact donation can have in saving and improving lives.

The awareness stall also helped address common myths and misconceptions associated with organ donation, encouraging participants to develop a positive and informed perspective towards the cause. Attendees actively engaged with the team, asked questions, and showed keen interest in understanding how they could contribute towards spreading awareness about organ donation.

As an outcome of the initiative, 4 individuals came forward to pledge for organ and tissue donation, reflecting the positive impact of the awareness activity.

The program proved to be informative and impactful in reaching a large audience and promoting awareness about organ and tissue donation among community members and youth participants.
