On 18 May 2026, MOHAN Foundation successfully conducted an organ donation awareness session at 3 NCC Jharkhand Battalion and Manan Vidya Manrakhan Mahato School, Booty More, Ranchi. The program witnessed an overwhelming response with more than 510 NCC cadets and over 30 battalion staff members actively participating. Officials from SOTTO Jharkhand were also present at the event, making the session more impactful and well-coordinated. The dignified presence of senior officers, including Colonel Santosh Kumar, Colonel Sudeep Sinha, and Subedar Major Krishna Deb, further encouraged and motivated the participants.

The session began with an informative and insightful presentation by Salvia from SOTTO Jharkhand. She explained the importance of organ donation in detail and highlighted how a single donor can save multiple lives. She also discussed the medical and legal aspects of organ donation in a simple and understandable manner, helping the cadets gain clear knowledge about the subject.

After this, Mr. Mukesh Kumar Singh from MOHAN Foundation addressed the audience and spoke about common myths and facts related to organ donation. He clarified several misconceptions such as fear of organ misuse, confusion regarding brain death, and religious concerns. His session helped in removing doubts and building a positive mindset among the participants. A lively question-and-answer session was also conducted, where cadets actively participated and asked thoughtful and relevant questions.

To make the session more engaging and effective, short educational videos were shown to the audience. In addition, real-life inspiring stories of organ donors and recipients were shared and performed, which created an emotional connection with the participants. These stories helped the cadets understand the real impact of organ donation in saving lives.
