Organized by: 1 HP Girls Battalion NCC, Solan, Himachal Pradesh Date: June 08, 2026 Venue: Jaypee University of Information Technology, Wakhnaghat, Solan, Himachal Pradesh IntroductionAs part of the Himtrek All India Girls Trek, the HP Girls Battalion, under the leadership of Commanding Officer Col. Vivek Bhatara, organized an Organ Donation Awareness Session at the base camp in Jaypee University, Wakhnaghat. The trek brought together 510 girl cadets from diverse states including Jammu & Kashmir & Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Chandigarh. Additionally, the SRDF-MF Foundation was invited by Col. Vivek Bhatara to conduct a specialized awareness program for NCC cadets, which saw enthusiastic participation from nearly 300 cadets and 10 officers. Objectives

Conclusion The Organ Donation Awareness initiatives during Himtrek were meaningful steps that aligned with the trek’s spirit of unity, service, and empowerment. By educating young cadets, the HP Girls Battalion, guided by Commanding Officer Col.
