On May 14, 2025, an organ donation awareness session was held by MOHAN Foundation at Sadar Hospital in Ranchi. The purpose was to educate patients and their attendants on the significance of organ and eye donation. Approximately 60 participants, including patients and attendants, were in attendance.

The session aimed to raise awareness about the life-saving benefits of organ donation and to emphasize its importance. Participants were educated on how organ and tissue donation can save multiple lives and enhance the quality of life for transplant recipients.

Mr. Mukesh Kumar Singh facilitated the session, providing clear information on organ donation criteria, eligible donors, donated organs and tissues, and the process of pledging to donate. Special attention was given to the importance of eye donation in restoring vision for those in need.

2 individuals came forward and pledged for eye donation after the session. Their pledge reflected the success of the awareness program in inspiring people to take a positive step toward saving lives.

The session concluded with a message encouraging everyone to discuss organ donation with their families and help spread awareness in the community
