Every year, all of the directors and council members of the LIONS Council of India get together to plan new projects and evaluate the job completed.  This year, on June 5, 2026, MOHAN Foundation and the LIONS Council of India launched an Organ Donation Awareness initiative with the support  of the RKG ARK Foundation. Mrs. Lalitha Raghuram, Dr. Hemal Kanvinde, Ms. Sujatha S, and Mr. Siva Kumar represented the MOHAN Foundation. 

The event was attended by International President Lion Arvinder Pal Singh, former International Director Lion Pravin Chhajed, and Executive Director of RKG International Mr. Rajesh Kumar Agarwal, who pledged their support for the project.

Mrs Lalitha Raghuram, spoke of the value of Organ Donation, the need and the gap leading to loss of lives waiting for organs.  She highlighted the Gift of Life training that would make ambassadors of all Lions. She requested all the directors and leaders in the 400 strong group to take this project to their members and request them to join this initiative.
