An awareness talk on organ donation was conducted at Pidilite India Limited, Baddi, HP, under the guidance of Ambassador Parveen Mahajan on May 13, 2026. The session was delivered with the aid of a PowerPoint presentation, ensuring clarity and engagement throughout. The session was attended by around 35 employees and aimed to sensitize the staff about the importance of organ donation as a life-saving act.

Ms. Mahajan covered a wide range of topics, including:

• Process of organ donation — when and how it takes place
• Organs that can be donated during life and after death
• Transplant waiting list in India and the urgent demand-supply gap
• Brain death and distinction between brain death and coma
• Contraindications to organ donation
• Role of MOHAN Foundation in promoting awareness and facilitating donations
• Myths and facts surrounding organ donation

The session was highly interactive, with participants enthusiastically engaging in discussions and raising thoughtful questions. The session concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. Parveen Mahajan. A total of 35 participants attended, and notably, all pledged to support organ donation, reflecting the success and impact of the awareness initiative
