11 Punjab Battalion NCC Amritsar, Punjab Date: May 13, 2026 Venue: Govt ITI Ramtirath, District Amritsar, Punjab On May 13, 2026, SRDF–MOHAN Foundation conducted its first-ever organ donation awareness session at ITI Ramtirath, Amritsar, during an NCC camp. The program was organized at the invitation of Commanding Officer Mohit Thapa and Col. Anup Pratap Singh of the 11 Punjab Battalion NCC. Nearly 400 cadets from schools and colleges across Amritsar and TaranTarn districts, along with 10 officers, participated enthusiastically in the session. Despite being held in an open parking lot without projector, microphone, or fan facilities, the session was highly interactive and impactful. The audience comprised mostly NCC cadets under 18 years of age, with only a few above the legal age for pledging organ donation. The session emphasized organ and tissue donation as a “gift of life,” clarified misconceptions, and encouraged cadets to initiate family discussions on the subject. Objectives
