15 Haryana Battalion NCC Jind, Haryana Date: May 06, 2026 Venue: Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Village Khunga Kothi, District Jind, Haryana Lt. Dr. Nayan Deep welcomed the SRDF-MF team with inspiring words and introduced the resource persons, outlining the purpose of their visit. The SRDF-MF Foundation was honored to be invited by Lt. Col. Subir Mathur, Commanding Officer of 15 Haryana Battalion NCC Jind, Haryana, to conduct an awareness session on organ donation for NCC cadets. The program saw enthusiastic participation from nearly 520 cadets from schools and colleges across Jind, along with 20 officers. The session was inaugurated by Mrs. Sangeeta Jamwal, Head of Operations at SRDF-MF, who shared the mission and vision of the foundation. She emphasized organ donation as the ultimate “gift of life” and highlighted the vital role of youth in championing this noble cause. Mrs. Jamwal also presented the current status of organ donation in India, comparing it with global benchmarks and discussing policy frameworks such as the opt-out system. The cadets and officers actively participated, asking insightful questions and expressing their support. The Commandant and officers concluded by encouraging all cadets to pledge their organs and spread awareness among family, friends, and teachers. This initiative not only educated the participants but also inspired them to become ambassadors for organ donation, reinforcing the message that donating organs is the ultimate act of giving life.
