On May 2, 2026, MOHAN Foundation, in association with AGMC & GBP Hospital, organized an awareness session on organ donation at the Orthopaedics Outpatient Department (OPD) of AGMC. The session was led by Ms. Nipa Modak, Program Executive at MOHAN Foundation, as part of the organization's ongoing public education and outreach initiatives.

Ms. Nipa commenced the session with a concise introduction to MOHAN Foundation's mission. She elaborated on critical aspects of organ donation, including the distinctions between living and deceased donation, the significance of tissue donation, prevalent myths versus facts, and the broader importance of organ donation.

To reinforce the key messages and encourage pledge commitments, informational leaflets were distributed to all attendees.

Approximately 17 participants actively engaged in the session, demonstrating keen interest and demonstrating improved awareness of organ and tissue donation processes.
