On April 7, 2026, an eye donation awareness session was conducted at Prasad Chikitsa, Ganeshpuri, for the general public. The session was facilitated by Mr. Ravi Pawar from MOHAN Foundation with the objective of creating awareness about the importance of eye donation and its role in restoring vision for individuals suffering from corneal blindness.

Approximately 60 participants attended the session and were sensitized about various aspects of eye donation, including the donation process, eligibility criteria, and the impact of corneal transplantation in transforming lives. Participants were informed about how timely eye donation can help provide vision to individuals in need and contribute meaningfully to society.

The session also focused on addressing common myths and misconceptions related to eye donation. Through factual explanations and interactive discussion, participants gained a clearer understanding of the subject and were encouraged to make informed decisions regarding eye donation.

The attendees actively participated in the session by asking questions and engaging in discussions. They were also encouraged to pledge their eyes and spread awareness about eye donation within their families and communities.
