An eye donation awareness session was conducted on April 6, 2026, at Prasad Chikitsa, Ganeshpuri, with the objective of creating awareness among the general public about the importance of eye donation and its role in restoring vision for individuals suffering from corneal blindness.

The session was facilitated by Mr. Ravi Pawar from MOHAN Foundation, who provided detailed information on various aspects of eye donation. The discussion covered the causes of corneal blindness, preventive measures, eligibility criteria for eye donation, and the simple procedure involved after death. Participants were informed about how eye donation can help restore sight and improve the quality of life for visually impaired individuals.

Common myths and misconceptions related to eye donation were also addressed and clarified with factual explanations, helping participants develop a clear and accurate understanding of the subject.
