Awareness Stall on Organ Donation Conducted at Azim Premji foundation, Ranchi |

An organ donation awareness session along with an organ donation awareness stall was conducted on April 13, 2026 at Azim Premji Foundation University, Itki, Ranchi with the objective of educating participants about the importance of organ and tissue donation and encouraging them to support the noble cause of saving lives through donation. The programme witnessed the participation of around 300 attendees, who actively engaged throughout the session. The awareness session was facilitated by Mr. Mukesh Kumar Singh from MOHAN Foundation, Ranchi. He began the session by introducing the mission and activities of MOHAN Foundation and highlighted its continuous efforts toward promoting organ donation awareness and sensitising communities across the country. During the session, Mr. Mukesh Kumar Singh explained key concepts related to organ and tissue donation in a simple and informative manner. He discussed the importance of transplantation and how organ donation can save and improve multiple lives. Participants were educated about the need for organ donors and the significance of spreading awareness within society. The session also focused on addressing common myths and misconceptions related to organ donation and transplantation. Mr. Mukesh Kumar Singh clarified doubts raised by the participants and encouraged them to openly discuss organ donation with their family members and peers. In addition to the awareness session, an organ donation awareness stall was set up at the venue to provide informational materials and interact with participants individually. The stall helped create further awareness among the attendees and encouraged meaningful conversations about organ and tissue donation. The programme remained interactive and informative throughout, with participants showing keen interest in understanding the process and importance of organ donation. Overall, the awareness session and stall were successful in sensitising the attendees and motivating them to support and promote the cause of organ donation in society.
