H. R. Patel Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Shirpur, Maharashtra  invited Dr. Ravi Wankhede, Director MOHAN Foundation Nagpur, as a Chief Guest for their one day seminar on “Organ Donation:  Need of Today & Future of Tomorrow” on 18th January 2014.  It is one of the premier institutes in Maharashtra, involved in pharmacy education since 2004.

The Institution organized several events such as street plays, poster display and competition on the subject. An audio-visual talk given by Dr. Wankhede gave a detailed insight of the subject. The management showed great interest of propagating the subject and association with the MOHAN Foundation. More than 450 students and staff of the college attended the talk. The organizers were given 25 donor cards and forms. The college management decided to print the organ donation information pamphlets and distribute to all staff and students.
