On March 12, 2026 a recent visit to Azim Premji Foundation, Ranchi, Ms. Jaya Jairam, Project Director, MOHAN Foundation, along with Mr. Mukesh, conducted an organ donation awareness session for the Foundation staff. The session focused on the importance of organ donation and highlighted the need to strengthen awareness at the community level through regular outreach and education. During the visit, the MOHAN Foundation team met Mr. Debabrata, District Lead, who expressed his willingness to collaborate with MOHAN Foundation in promoting organ donation awareness activities in the region. The Foundation team also agreed to include Mr. Mukesh in their upcoming health-related meetings with Primary Health Centres (PHCs), ASHA workers, and Anganwadi workers, which will help integrate organ donation awareness into broader community health discussions and outreach programmes. In addition, the team met Mr. Abhishek Victor, who is responsible for recruitment for the upcoming Azim Premji Foundation Hospital in Ranchi, and he extended his support to MOHAN Foundation for any recruitment-related requirements in the future. The visit was meaningful and productive, opening up opportunities for collaboration, wider community engagement, and the promotion of organ donation awareness through existing grassroots health networks.
