Ms. Jaya Jairam conducted an interactive workshop titled “The Art of Making the Ask – Grief Counselling & Organ Donation” at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children on March 18, 2026.

The workshop brought together around 45 participants, including ICU staff, nurses, palliative care professionals, and social workers. It focused on strengthening their capacity to navigate sensitive end-of-life conversations and approach families for organ donation with empathy and ethical clarity.

• Principles and timing of making the ask for organ donation
• The “Right & Wrong Approach” through film-based discussions
• Role-play exercises simulating real-life scenarios
