On April 6, 2026, MF-SRDF, conducted an Organ Donation Awareness Program at Concentrix BPO, DLF IT Park, Chandigarh.

This initiative was sparked when Mr. Manjeet from Concentrix BPO, during an earlier visit with his team to an Old Age Home in Sector 15, Chandigarh, came into contact with MF-SRDF. Through continued interaction, the collaboration led to this impactful awareness session.

The session was planned with a clear structure, focusing on the followings objectives to be achieved through this platform:

• Educate employees on the importance of organ donation
• Dispel myths and misconceptions surrounding the subject
• Encourage employees to voluntarily pledge as organ donors
• Foster a culture of social responsibility within the workplace

The session was inaugurated by senior HR representatives, who emphasized Concentrix’s commitment to community welfare.

Ms. Preeti Gupta introduced MF-SRDF and MOHAN Foundation, highlighting their mission and vision. She described organ donation as a “gift of life”. The awareness session provided employees with a comprehensive understanding of organ donation, addressing medical, ethical, and social aspects. The following themes were discussed:

• Global and Indian statistics on organ donation, including state-level comparisons.
• Explanation of the opt-out policy for clarity.
• Distinction between live related and live unrelated donations.
• Differences between natural death, brain death, and coma states.
• Addressing common myths with factual information.
• Sharing real-life transplant stories to inspire participants.
• Importance of carrying a Donor Card and the steps to pledge.
• Encouragement to discuss organ donation with family members.

Unexpected call

• The initial session was planned as a single awareness talk.
• Due to overwhelming response, HR requested a second session after lunch.

Second Session Impact:

The second session turned out to be far more engaging than anticipated, stretching to nearly two hours instead of the planned timeframe. Employees participated extensively, diving into deep discussions, sharing personal perspectives, and raising thought‑provoking questions. Never as expected to be a structured lecture evolved into a highly interactive dialogue, with surprising outcomes that highlighted the genuine curiosity and commitment of the participants. The enthusiasm and momentum generated during this session clearly demonstrated the employees’ sincere interest in the cause, laying a strong foundation for future initiatives.

Special Highlight of these two sessions:

During the session, one employee requested information on whole body donation. The donation form was shared, and the process was explained in detail. This demonstrated the depth of engagement and the employees’ willingness to take concrete steps toward contributing to medical science and society.

Approximately 50 employees from diverse backgrounds participated. The sessions reflected high engagement and curiosity, showcasing the employees’ commitment to social causes. The Organ Donation Awareness Program at Concentrix BPO IT Park, Chandigarh was a meaningful step toward promoting social responsibility and saving lives. By encouraging pledges, the initiative not only educated but also empowered individuals to make a lasting impact on society.
