On March 10, 2026, Maharashtra Kamgar Kalyan Mandal organized a special program to celebrate International Women's Day at Lalit Kala Bhavan, Nagpur. The event aimed to recognize and honor the remarkable contributions of women across different fields and to inspire others through their journeys.

MOHAN Foundation was invited as the Guest of Honor for the occasion, highlighting its ongoing commitment to social service and awareness, especially in the field of organ donation.

The program was graced by several distinguished personalities, including Dr. Pratibha Bhakre, Commissioner, Kamgar kalyan Mandal, Shail Jemini, Social worker, Sangeeta Patil, and Veena Wathore, Project Manager MOHAN Foundation. Their presence added dignity and significance to the celebration, and they addressed the gathering with motivating thoughts on women empowerment, Organ Donation, and community development.

A key highlight of the event was the felicitation ceremony, where women achievers were honored by the Maharashtra Kamgar Kalyan Mandal for their extraordinary work and dedication in their respective fields. The awardees included Monika Ingale, Ruchika Bawankar, Sunita Gawande, Jaya Arkonda, and Trupti Meshram. MOHAN Foundation Ambassador Mr. Ramesh Bhisikar was prominently present. The event concluded on a positive and empowering note, celebrating the spirit, strength, and achievements of women. Around 120 people attended the program & 8 women pledged to donate whole body & Eye donation.
