On February 16, 2026, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the Umed SHG Group Department at Palghar to conduct an awareness session for the general public.

During the session, Prachiti Mali explained the concepts of eye donation, corneal blindness, precautions, causes, and the age criteria for eye donation. The legal aspects related to eye donation were discussed, and several common myths were clarified to provide accurate information to the participants.

A total of 14 members of the general public attended the session. Some participants pledged for eye donation, and various queries were addressed during the interactive discussion.

MOHAN Foundation is thankful to the Umed SHG Group Department at Palghar for joining hands and supporting the noble cause of organ donation by helping to spread awareness.
