Awareness Session on Organ Donation Conducted at S.N. Road, Ranchi |

On February 27, 2026, Mr. Mukesh Kumar Singh from MOHAN Foundation was invited to conduct an organ donation awareness stall for medical representatives at S.N. Road, Ranchi. The stall was organized with the objective of spreading awareness about organ and tissue donation and enhancing understanding among the participants about the importance of this life-saving cause. Sessions with medical representatives are especially useful, as they are connected to the healthcare sector and can play an important role in further spreading accurate information within the community. During the awareness stall, Mr. Mukesh Kumar Singh explained important concepts related to organ and tissue donation, including brain death and cardiac death, in a clear and simple manner. He also discussed which organs and tissues can be donated and highlighted the legal aspects of organ donation in India. In addition, he addressed several common myths and misconceptions surrounding organ donation, helping the participants gain accurate knowledge and a better understanding of the subject. A total of 10 medical representatives attended the stall and actively participated in the discussion. The session was interactive, with participants showing genuine interest in the topic and engaging with thoughtful questions. One of the questions raised during the interaction was how a person can register as an organ donor. This query was addressed during the session, along with other doubts, which helped provide clarity and encouraged informed awareness among the attendees. Overall, the session was informative and meaningful, helping to increase awareness and understanding about the importance of organ donation among the participants.
