An eye donation awareness session was conducted on January 24, 2026, at the Bus Depot, Palghar, with the objective of educating participants about the importance of eye donation and encouraging them to support this noble cause.

The session provided detailed information on the concept and significance of eye donation, including the process involved, eligibility criteria, and the necessary steps to be followed at the time of donation. Participants were informed about how eye donation can help restore vision for individuals suffering from corneal blindness.

Common myths and misconceptions related to eye donation were addressed and clarified with factual explanations, helping to enhance awareness and understanding among the attendees. The participants were also encouraged to pledge for eye donation and to spread awareness within their communities.

Approximately 60 individuals attended the session and actively participated in the discussion. As an outcome of the session, one participant came forward to pledge for eye donation. The program proved to be informative and impactful, successfully raising awareness about eye donation.
