The Indian Medical Association (IMA), Chandrapur, successfully organized CIMACON XIII on January 24 and 25, 2026, under the inspiring theme “Updating for Better Care.” The conference served as a significant platform for medical professionals to exchange knowledge, discuss advancements in healthcare, and promote critical healthcare initiatives.

The event was chaired by Dr. Vineet Dubey, with Dr. Pallavi Dongre serving as the Organizing Secretary. The conference witnessed dedicated efforts from Dr. Ritesh Dixit (IMA President) along with committee members Dr. Vishwas Zade and Dr. Pravin Pant, whose collective commitment ensured the grand success of CIMACON XIII.

A special highlight of the conference was the inclusion of Organ Donation and Organ Transplantation sessions on both days, reflecting the growing importance of this life-saving cause in modern medical practice.

The scientific sessions featured:

• “Liver Transplant – Case-Based Discussion” by Dr. Swapnil Sharma, Liver Transplant Surgeon, who shared valuable clinical insights and practical experiences in liver transplantation.
• “Organ Donation Awareness: Shaping Tomorrow’s Doctors, Saving Tomorrow’s Lives” by Dr. Piyush Kimmatkar, Nephrologist, GMC & Super Specialty Hospital, Nagpur, who emphasized the crucial role of medical professionals in promoting organ donation awareness.

MOHAN Foundation’s presence added great value to the conference. Dr. Pallavi Dongre, a Living Liver Donor and MOHAN Foundation Ambassador, actively promoted the cause of organ donation throughout the event. She distributed 350 organ donation awareness badges along with 100 information brochures and consent forms, encouraging doctors and delegates to support and advocate for organ donation.

The participation of MOHAN Foundation at CIMACON XIII successfully strengthened awareness among 300 healthcare professionals, inspired future advocates for organ donation, and reaffirmed the shared commitment toward saving lives through transplantation.
