On January 23, 2026, an awareness session on Organ Donation was conducted for NSS volunteers at Government Arts and Science College, Sholinghur.

Mr. Ganesh C, Senior Project Executive, explained key aspects including brain death, organs and tissues eligible for donation, government allocation procedures, and addressed myths and scams related to organ donation. He also briefed participants on recipient registration, government schemes, and demonstrated the effective use of the Organ Donation Helpline (1800 103 7100).
