Eye Donation Awareness Session at Dighe

On December 2, 2025, MOHAN Foundation’s Prachiti Mali was invited by Dighe to conduct an eye donation awareness session for the General Public.

During the session, Prachiti Mali explained the key concepts of eye donation, corneal blindness, important precautions, causes, and the age criteria for donating eyes. She also spoke about the legal aspects of eye donation and addressed various myths and misconceptions related to the topic.

A total of 60 participants from the General Public attended the session. One participant also came forward to pledge their eyes, showing interest and support for the cause. Some of the queries raised during the session included:

• What is the cornea in eye donation?
