On December 4, 2025 - The MOHAN Foundation conducted a highly successful organ donation awareness program at the Integrated Army Health Centre in Bowenpally, Secunderabad. The event was specifically aimed at raising awareness about the importance of organ donation and transplantation within the defense community.

Project Manager Mr. Venkatesh Kattela led the outreach effort, setting up a comprehensive Organ Donation Information Stall that was active throughout the day. Many visitors interacted with the team at the stall, collected informational materials, and registered their pledges.

The formal awareness session was conducted by Dr. Bhanu Prakash from the MOHAN Foundation. The session effectively created awareness about the importance of organ donation and transplantation and was attended by close to 200 participants. A key focus was providing clear answers to the attendees' queries regarding the organ donation process.

The comprehensive discussion covered essential topics, ensuring all attendees left with accurate, informed knowledge:

• The essential distinction between brain death and cardiac arrest.
• The significance of carrying a donor card.
• The procedural aspects of the consent process.
• Common myths and misconceptions surrounding organ donation.
• The pressing societal need for organ donation.

Brochures and donor cards were distributed to all attendees. The event saw an overwhelming response, with close to 200 people attending the event and pledging their organs, demonstrating a profound commitment to this life-saving cause.
