An Organ and Eye Donation Awareness Session was successfully conducted on 10th October 2025 with the students of Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune.The session aimed to educate and inspire young individuals about the importance of organ and tissue (eye) donation, highlighting the life-saving impact such contributions can make.

The program was organized in collaboration with Sassoon General Hospital and the MOHAN Foundation, Pune. It featured detailed presentations, informative discussions, and an interactive question–answer segment, helping students gain clarity on the process, significance, and need for organ and eye donation.

Participants were also guided through common myths and facts related to organ donation, the registration procedure, and the social value of pledging to donate organs after death. The students displayed great enthusiasm, actively engaging with the speakers and showing genuine interest in the subject.

A notable achievement of the event was that 10 students voluntarily pledged to donate their organs, demonstrating their compassion and commitment to supporting this noble cause.

Overall, the awareness session proved to be impactful and meaningful, successfully sensitizing young minds to the importance of organ and eye donation and promoting the life-affirming message of “Giving life beyond life.”
