On November 18, 2025, MOHAN Foundation’s representative, Ms. Prachiti Mali, conducted an awareness session on eye donation for the employees and staff of Bhagini Samaj Vidyamandir High School, Palghar, and Aryan High School, Palghar. The session aimed to enhance understanding about the importance of eye donation and to clarify doubts related to the process.

Ms. Prachiti explained the key concepts of eye donation, including corneal blindness, its causes, necessary precautions, and the age-related eligibility criteria. She also highlighted the legal aspects associated with eye donation and addressed common myths and misconceptions to ensure participants received accurate and reliable information.

A total of 37 employees and staff attended the session. Ms. Prachiti provided a clear explanation of the cornea’s structure and its essential role in vision.
