|
The Walkathon “Chalti Rahe Zindagi” was successfully conducted on November 15, 2025, with enthusiastic participation from the Worley employees. The event aimed to promote fitness, wellbeing, and awareness about organ donation, and it turned into a joyful and meaningful morning for everyone involved. The day began with a well-organized registration process, during which participants gathered with energy and excitement to kickstart the event. Following the registration, an insightful and inspiring awareness session on organ donation was conducted by Ms. Jaya Jairam. Her session emphasized the importance of organ donation and encouraged employees to support this noble cause. The talk was very well-received and left a lasting impact on the participants. To further energize the crowd before the walk, a lively Zumba session was held. Filled with music and cheer, the session brought smiles to every face as participants engaged in warm-up and stretching exercises that prepared them for the walkathon. The walkathon was officially flagged off by Mr. Laxman Puri from the Thane Municipal Corporation and Mr. Tapan Sen, Director at Worley. Their presence added great motivation to the participants. As the walk began, employees moved forward with enthusiasm, chanting slogans that promoted health and organ donation. The vibrant beats of the dhol added to the festive atmosphere, and many participants enjoyed dancing to the rhythm after completing the walk. The spirit of togetherness was evident throughout, making the event both fun and inspiring. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to L. H. Hiranandani Hospital and Jupiter Hospital for providing ambulance support and ensuring medical preparedness during the event. We would also like to sincerely thank the Worley Team, Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC), Thane Police, Thane Traffic Police, and MOHAN Foundation volunteers for their cooperation and support, which played a crucial role in conducting the event smoothly and safely. Overall, the Walkathon “Chalti Rahe Zindagi” was a wonderful blend of awareness, fitness, and celebration. With around 400 participants joining in, the event was a resounding success and left everyone feeling inspired, engaged, and united for a meaningful cause. |
